Usually the thought of going to a dealership to buy a car evokes the same feeling as getting a tooth extracted, Painfull. Dan Heller was amazing to deal with. No pressure. And for me no anxiety. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a car to visit them.

Had a good experience. Came from out of town looking at a truck they had on the lot. It was exactly as I was expecting. They gave me a good deal on it. No bs. I was back on the road in my new RAM within an hour and a half. And they managed to clean it during that time. cheers.
I was searching for a vehicle for a few months talking with the other two dealerships. Southgate was the only one that listened and didn't harass me with things I was not looking for. The Southgate VW team got our vehicle in right away, made arrangements with the towing company to get it to VW that day and the service department got it in and completed all the work the day it was dropped off. We were given a courtesy vehicle and our daily life was impacted very little by this issue.

Some good some confusion. Scheduled the 135,000 Km service interval, did not get the full service. The service is supposed to include a tire rotation, however I was told that I had just requested an oil change. Seems to be a little confusion as even my email reminder from VW says 135,000 maintenance Now I need another day with my tire retailer to get the rotation done, more time spent with the car in the shop, should have been done all at the same time. Greeted by welcome customer service staff. They were able to provide a vacuum and dash clean. They had my vehicle all ready at time of pick up requested. I found the service expensive, however I know the parts and labor can be expensive for this type of vehicle. Overall great experience.

I love this dealership. They give you quick diagnosis, provide a reasonable quote and fix your problem. Other VW dealerships are not the same so much so I thought seriously about getting rid of my car just so I wouldn't have to deal with VW service; never mind the problems they caused! This is the first VW service department I have liked and will continue to use.
It was good but was concerned about service vehicle. If any damage happened while driving. I can see if it was my fault, but say someone passes you and a rock hits windshield. That kind of stuff shouldn't be accountable. So next time not sure if I should take service vehicle. Was nervous all the time. Not good

We got our winter tires changes and spring tune-up. They did an analysis of the vehicle to assess if there were any problems. They completed the job quickly and only recommended items that need to be done. They also washed the car which is greatly appreciated.
I had the 15000 km service done to my car and had a new windshield installed. Service was great. My car wasn't going to be ready when I needed it, but I did get a courtesy car which was fantastic.
I showed up 25mins early for my appointment but staff were accommodating and got my vehicle in right away for servicing. I waited at the dealership while my car was serviced and everything was done timely, staff were friendly and it was an overall good visit!

I went in for an oil change and recall. Got everything done in a good amount of time. They also found screws in my tires! They also fixed that.

Southgate Volkswagen has provided an excellent service again. Yesterday I took in my wife's Tiguan for it's regular maintenance and everything went according to, or even above, expectations.
Service Representative said that there was only a three year warranty on my vehicle and that this service interval would be more extensive because the car was coming off warranty. When my husband showed up for the appointment another representative said that my vehicle was covered for one more year and the extensive service would be completed then.
The Southgate volkswagen parts department has been super easy to deal with. A huge reason I decided to purchase my Golf R from there last year. I received good service from everyone in the dealership from sales to finance. The most exceptional service I received was from Howard in parts. He always responds to my questions quicker than any other auto vendor I have ever dealt with. He helped me put together winter wheels for my car even when the ones I had wanted were out of stock and made my vw experience a lot better.

I do NOT think it is a coincident the engine light came on right after the service was performed on my 2010 VW Touareg car. I as a long time customer of Southgate Volgswagon am very dissapointed that the car engine light would come on so quickly after having the car serviced.. I have for over the previous 6 months driven the car with no problems. Great staff at the southgate Volkswagen. The one guy working in the bay was very efficient and friendly. However, I feel regretful that I must bring my Jetta for oil changes to a dishonest company.
My wife brought our 2006 TDI Jetta wagon in to Southgate Volkswagen as the middle back seat belt had seized. They were able to quickly fix it and did an overall inspection and advised us of some other issues and provided a reasonable quote. They also oiled the driver side door that was squeaking and washed the vehicle. They only charged us 1/2 an hour labour for an hour job. Thanks to the team at Southgate VW!
As always, they make the service process as painless as possible. Loaners always available if needed no matter what they are doing to your vehicle, lovely to drive into the service bay and be greeted immediately. A little bit time consuming but it is what it is. And always treated well, which is a nice change form other dealerships I've used! I should mention our service rep added a discount to the bill which was very much appreciated! I went to test drive a used Jetta and walked out with a brand new one. The used cars hold such great value, that when I thought about it why buy a used when only 2-3k more per model year newer I can have a new car. I have had my car for only a few months and still love it.
